Ants, such as pavement and carpenter, are quite common during the summer season. They start from the outside and tend to end up inside wherever they can find water and a food source. Although they are quite annoying, they are highly treatable.
Tips:
*Ants leave a pheromone trail, so watch the ants closely to find their pathway and then clean the area thoroughly with an ammonia based cleaner.
*Keep all food particles off the floor and especially keep the kitchen counters clean.
*Trim all tree branches, shrubs, and bushes so they do not touch the house.
*If the ants persist, put granular bait at the exterior base of the house.
