Termites are a homeowners worst fear. Let's reset the thinking about these invaders. If caught in time they are highly treatable, only if you ignore them can they eat away at the foundation of your home.
Tips:
*Put crushed rock down instead of mulch close to the house
*Divert water away from the house (moisture draws termites, such as leaky outside faucet)
*Do not stack wood close to house (at least 50 ft away)
I found this spider in my woodpile, is it a woodpile spider?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wolf spider. They are as big as a quarter and when you spray them they roll up into a ball. They are not posionous just ugly looking.
